As the former site of flood-affected riverside restaurants, the rejuvenated area is now home to over 10,000 new plants and 55 mature trees and boasts a world-class public space with sweeping Brisbane CBD and river views

The development includes; upgrades to promenade accessibility and the extension of the rainforest, terraced landscape seating, riverside lawn and a new public pavilion with 6 barbecues and a 200-person capacity. The space also includes nthe integrated water feature ‘Water is Life’ created by Aboriginal Contemporary artist and Ngugi (Quandamooka) woman, Elisa Jane Carmichael.
