Woollam Constructions is committed to working with Building Information Modelling (BIM). This innovative technology involves the generation and management of digital representations of physical and functional characteristics of the building process. The software allows stakeholders to access a visual representation of the facility that comprises of width, height, depth, time and cost of a project in its construction phases, as well as information and status updates for the ongoing maintenance and life-cycle of the components.
Woollam is currently managing a project in Western Australia using BIM360 Glue and Field. The project is set to provide the client with the BIM model and associated schedules and manuals that will be designed to make facilities management in this remote area of Australia much easier.
