On average, the Swiss, Danish and Swedish are outliving most of the world’s population.

It means these countries are making health and social care for elderly a priority, with normal, independent living opportunities the driving force.

What can Australia’s aged care industry learn from the new technologies and innovative care environments of our European counterparts?

Follow our aged care experts Danny Hammon and Paul Smith as they journey over the next 14 days visiting these countries to explore, investigate and learn the processes that are defining a new approach to aged living.

Their journey will focus on innovation in care including; assistive technology and how this is being used in the home and facility environment, caring for people living with dementia, delivery of hospitality services and rehabilitation services.

There is no such thing as a one model fits all solution, but we can learn and improve to ensure we are providing models that enhances quality of life for our elderly population.
