Creating facilities for the future

April

The redevelopment of Oxley High School has been delivered to an exceptional standard, thanks to a dedicated project team and strong network of tradespeople.

We chat to two of our team members that helped drive the project on-site.

ALASTAIR NICOL, SITE MANAGER
This former pro boxer arrived at Woollam Constructions with an expansive skill set, ready to knock out project after project. Thanks to his commitment and experience, Alastair is achieving success after success, with all of his projects turning over a profit, and being delivered on time. His work has also helped net two Master Builders Awards. “Working as a team, meeting new subbies and suppliers, and constantly learning. It’s really rewarding,” Alastair says.

ADAM GALLAGHER, SITE FOREMAN
Adam began with Woollam Constructions in 2008, working his way up as a stand-out Site Manager on the Bellingen High School Trade Training Centre project, and later at the Bellingen Hospital project. “It’s all good, Woollams is a great company to work for. It’s filled with great people and that makes a big difference.”

“…Oxley School project was the best school project we have worked on for some time. The team were very helpful and obliging and the finish achieved by all trades is well above the other schools we have worked on.” Kenny Dunn, R Dunn & Sons (Subcontractors)
